AMIE Examination

Introduction

The AMIE test( Associate Member of Institute of Engineers) is an engineering degree test conducted by the Institution of engineers in India for distance admission into BE and BTech programs.

The examination consists of two sections videlicet Section A and Section B.

Eligibility:

Aspirants must have passed 10 2 with PCM and English or parchment holders of 3 year course in any engineering branch. Aspirants should have completed HSC or PDC (Pre Degree course).

SECTION A & B EXAMINATION:

As notified by the Government of India, passing the A and B sections of this Institute is original to an engineering degree in the applicable discipline. Qualifications are honored by central training institutions similar as IITs and central reclamation agencies as- UPSC.

These examinations are generally tried by the following

1. Diploma holders of Professional Development for Engineers

2. An engineering graduate in a discipline that requires an engineering authorization in an indispensable discipline for career advancement.

AMIE 2023 Exam Pattern

There are 2 sections in the test. Section A is common for all whereas, Section B is grounded on the engineering discipline chosen by the aspirants. Check the test pattern given below. AMIE Admit Card 2023

The aspirants ought to use their enrollment word to transfer the admit card from the website. It's also necessary to publish clones of the admit card for reference. AMIE 2023 Result

The result/ scorecard will be declared on the sanctioned web point for the aspirants a minimum of fifteen days after the examinations are over. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

A pass in 12th class or original from a recognised board with not lower than 55 in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics independently and an aggregate minimum of 60 in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics. campaigners seeking admission shall be born on or after 1st July 2000.

Students seeking admission with Pearson UG Entrance Examination score alone shall have an aggregate minimum of 75 in PCM with not lower than 75 in Mathematics.

Students applying for merit admission should be a occupant/Non-Resident Indian National/ PIO. NRI campaigners can also apply under the NRI order.

Foreign students studied/ studying abroad can apply directly through the foreign order only.

ADMISSION PROCESS

Selection to the B.Tech programme is based on the rank scored in AEEE 2023 / JEE Mains 2023 / SAT Score/ PUEE Score. If JEE Mains is conducted multiple times, all the scores released prior to the Amrita B.Tech. CSAP (Centralised Seat Allotment Process) will be looked into and the best result considered.

Seat allotment and counselling is purely online. Generally 70 seats are reserved for AEEE/ JEE passed students and rest for SAT/ PUEE scored students.

SAT – Scholastic Aptitude Test conducted by College Board is a standardized test used for admission which is intended to assess scholars ’ council readiness and used by further than 6000 Universities across the globe and over 30 Universities in India. Mathematics and Critical reading and jotting skill ist ested.Administered Five times a time in India, in the months of March, May, August, October and December. scholars can take the SAT multiple times and have a chance to ameliorate their scores.

The application fees being around ₹7000-₹8000 and is non refundable. PUEE- The Pearson Undergraduate Entrance test is the gold standard in common entrance admissions tests, measuring verbal, reading, and abstract logic chops through multiple choice questions. Pearson VUE designed the two- hour computer- grounded test for universities in India to assess campaigners for admission and registration into undergraduate programmes.The test will be administered in multiple metropolises across India from January till July 2023. Basic computer knowledge is helpful for this computer- grounded test.

It's a 2 hour cbt grounded test and it’s operation freights being ₹ 1750 as per 2023 updates.
