B.Sc Nursing
This sector deals with academic knowledge of the sectors of nursing.
Eligibility
The candidate must have passed the 12th level in the science stream.
The candidate should have studied PCB combination (physics, chemistry and biology) with compulsory.
English language in 10+12.
The candidate has passed 10+12 with a minimum of 40% marks(can vary depending upon institute).
The minimum age for admission is 17years on 31st December of the year in which admission is sought.
GNM
(GNM) General Nursing and Midwifery is one of the most pursued nursing courses. The course trains the students to be the first level of nursing operation expert in a hospital. Course duration: 3 to 3.5 years (depending upon institute).
Eligibility
Same as of B.sc Nursing.
ANM
(ANM) Auxiliary Nursing Midwifery is a diploma course. This is conducted for 2 years and students can join various nursing fields after studying ANM as well.
Eligibility
Candidate must have passed 10+12 or equivalent in Arts (Mathematics/Physics/Chemistry/Biology/Biotechnology/Economics/Political science/history/Geography/Business studies/Accountancy/Home science/Sociology/Pyhscology and philosphy).
The student shall be medically fit.
The candidate who has qualified in 10+12 in Arts/Science stream examination conducted by the National Institute of Open school.
NIZAM'S INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES (NIMS)
Introduction
The Nizam's Institute of Medical Sciences (NIMS) is an Institute under State Legislature Act in Hyderabad, Telangana. It has campuses in Punjagutta and Bibinagar. NIMS is recognized by University Grants Commission and Medical Council of India.

Eligibility
B.Sc Nursing: A Pass in Intermediate (10+2) course with Botany, Zoology, Physics, Chemistry and English or Vocational Nursing with Bridge course of Biological and Physical Sciences or equivalent. Should have secured not less than 45% of marks on the average in the subjects of Botany, Zoology, Physics, Chemistry and English taken together. Selection criteria: Merit Based
BPT: Intermediate Examination or its equivalent with optional subjects of Botany, Zoology, Physics & Chemistry OR Vocational Physiotherapy with Bridge Course of Biological and Physical Sciences. Selection criteria: Merit Based
Seat Matrix & Reservation
The applicant should have completed at least 17 years of age but should not be over the age of 25 years.
3 years of relaxation is given to the candidates of the SC/ST category in the upper age limit.
Candidates under differently abled category will also be given reservation according to the norms of the university.
For B.Sc, 5 Seats are reversed for In-Service Candidates working in NIMS.
For BPT, reservation rule for SC/ST/OBC candidates will be followed by taking the total number of seats, which is 15%, 6% and 29% respectively.
